a little bit about me
My name is Michael Carroll, the web designer, not the skateboarder. I grew up in England (UK) and now live in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada. I started building websites back in 1997, when everyone had large fishbowl monitors and dial-up connections. It started as just a hobby, and I guess it still is – it’s just now I’m really good at it.
In 2002 I studied Computer Aided Design (CAD) at Bournemouth University, England, where I developed my web design & development, 3D computer modelling & animation skills.. (and taught a lecturer how to use flash!)
Since graduating in 2006 I have been working for various design studios and also working on occasional freelance projects.
I love sports, play football (soccer) and go mountain bike riding regularly.
